What is a Giclée Print?
Giclée printing is the term used in reproducing high-quality fine art through archival, fade-resistant pigment inks. The use of giclée printing allows for beautifully detailed reproductions that look and feel like originals. Finished products are printed on canvas. Giclée prints make for timeless pieces of art enjoyed for years to come.
Canvas prints are customized, printed, and coated with care by Colbert Custom Framing and Art Printing in Naperville, Illinois. Jennifer trusts them exclusively with completing her reproductions in the most professional and timely manner. Using the giclée method allows Jennifer's work to come to life on canvas in a variety of sizes.
Please note that the size of the print listed is the actual size of the image. An additional half inch boarder is added to the print to allow for easy framing. Print sizes are intentionally customary to allow standard frames to fit the prints. If you would like the print and boarder included to fit within a specific size frame, please contact Jennifer to specify this in your order.
In addition to customizing size, pieces can also be printed to include mirrored sides for a gallery wrapped canvas. Jennifer is happy to provide you with a quote for a gallery wrapped canvas reproduction that comes stretched and ready to hang. Please contact her with any questions.
Giclée printing is a process. Rush orders can be processed with an additional fee (contact Jennifer with any inquiries on rushing your order). Otherwise, please allow up to two weeks for our wonderful local printer to customize this for you.
Art is special and deserves to be hung in your home to enjoy for years to come. Jennifer is commited to helping you create a wall space that brings you joy.
