A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes...
Our collaboration with designer, Jennifer Maune, was a dream. Read about how Jennifer Maune incorporated our prints into the design for her daughters' bedroom transformation along with Pottery Barn Kids.
Jennifer Maune approached Lily and Rose Papier in search for the perfect paper prints that would enhance the whimsical elegance she had envisioned for her daughters' bedroom. Incorporating pieces from the Disney Princess Collection from Pottery Barn Kids, Jennifer felt as though the collection in our shop would a wonderful fit to the theme of the room.
The Dreamers at Heart Collection, found under art prints in the shop are painted by the artist, Jennifer Collander. Originally painted in oils, the princesses are elegantly represented and celebrated for their individuality. Jennifer Collander uses the inspiration from the spirit of each heroine to create a perfect piece of art that is both magical and timeless.
In addition to adhering to her daughters' interests in princess decor, Jennifer Maune also was interested in incorporating pieces that would grow with her girls as their interests changed over time. Together, the designer and artist felt that incorporating a large statement abstract hand-painted in oils on a gallery wrapped canvas would provide more sophistication to the space.
Working with her color palette from the Monique Lhuillier Collection from Pottery Barn Kids, Jennifer Collander painted a beautiful abstract to add additional warmth and elegance to the room. The abstract is a nice compliment to the whimsical princess prints. The large original painting is also something that will grow with her children over time.
